Covid 19 update

The recent coronavirus outbreak has no doubt caused some concerns to businesses, with meetings and events being cancelled across the country. From our perspective, we have this under control and would like to put our clients concerns at rest.

Please see the following statement from Hermolis’s Health and Safety Department:
Being a fully audited food company, we adhere to strict personal hygiene training with every member of staff. Even before COVID -19 hit us, we run a very strict and regulate health and hygiene policy. Hand washing is imperative and we take this seriously, ensuring staff do this thoroughly after every task and each break time and avoid touching their face. Staff are told to stay home if suffering from any sort of contagious symptoms and we complete return to work forms for those who have been away on holiday or returning to work after being sick.

As always, the NHS advice to ‘catch it, bin it, kill it’ stands and we know that as long as we continue to stick to these standards of hygiene, we can continue to operate as usual.
Following the recent outbreak of COVID-19, we have implemented further regular cleaning tasks every two & four hours throughout the common areas of our premises and also in our vehicles.
We follow the PHE rules as standard, whilst also looking at any new recommendations:

According to the European Food Safety Authority ‘There is currently no evidence that food is a likely source or route of transmission of the virus.’ We would encourage our clients to rest assured that we are taking all the necessary precautions and more to ensure business continues without disruption, with health and safety continuing to be at the forefront of our operations.
